Meanwhile Last Night At The Cathedral

Meanwhile last night at the cathedral Gamal Mubarak attended

Gamal in Church in 2010

Gamal in Church in 2010 -2
Unfortunately what happened to the Egyptian Christians last night is in the best interest of Gamal despite the fact it is the result of his father's regime disrespect to the law. It turned that the suspect ; the wanted criminal with a file in the state security was set free from jail thanks to the influence of local NDP members who needed his valuable services in Parliamentary elections time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I understand now why many Christians in Egypt support Gamal , they have more reasons to support him as the Church considers him the protector from the radical Muslims who will jump on the chair as so as Mubarak leaves the building.

Sorry And Angry "Updated"

I am really very sorry and angry for what happened in Naj Hammadi yesterday. It hurts me more than the Egyptian Christians because what happened is against all Egyptians. What is more coward than attacking innocent people coming from a holy place on of their holiest eve. It is disgusting and sad.
My condolences to the families of those who were killed  and injured in this disgusting attack.
I do not care about the reasons behind this attack , the ministry of interior says that this attack has to do with the rape of 12 years old Muslim girl by a Christian in the city from several months ago and with my all respect this is ridiculous , fighting a crime by a group of crimes. I blame the ministry of interior in all of this , if there is a real respect and fear of the law nothing of this could happen. The ministry boldly announced a name of one of the suspected shooters and he is classified as dangerous wanted criminal with a file in the State security !! Are they serious ?? Why a person like him is let loose like that to kill innocent citizens creating a sectarian division.
Early morning in Naj Hammadi nearly 2000 Egyptian Christians have protested in the city . There were protests in front of Naj Hammadi hospital where the victims are.

Long Day ; Bloody Day On The Borders

I can’t comprehend or understand the kind of idiots planning our regional political strategy in Gaza , I really can’t understand at all , even if we consider all our regional political is not planned for our best interest but to the best interest of Mubarak and son which what is happened clearly. I do not get how this regional political strategy will serve Mubarak and son now and in the future , please do not tell me they are doing this for the States and Israel because in the end it is dangerous on our national security and their security too.
Riots forces
Yesterday and today as you may have know from the news things  that there were Shabaan coming down for the last timeterrible clashes between Egyptian security and  Gaza march activists from around the globe and today we found out that these clashes were getting from bad to worse moving to clashes between the Gazans and the security in Egypt on the border. The Gazans threw stones on the security in Egypt and the anti-riot forces used water pipes and tear gases to fight back both the activists and the Gazans.Despite there were  many injuries from all parties involved in this sad clash things did not begin to calm down except when an Egyptian soldier has been killed in his tower apparently by a sniper shot from Gaza. The soldier is 21 years old Ahmed Shabaan and I feel so sad for his murder. Strangely today is the same day Soliman Khater was killed too in cell in an officially suicide case may Allah bless their souls both and bring patience to their families.
Ahmed Shaaban

Alaa in Mecca

Honestly I began to miss Alaa Mubarak and I found it a pleasant opportunity to find him again in the news , his brother has not killed him yet. Alaa Mubarak and his wife Heidi went to Omra in the Holy Land and Heidi was the first woman from a very long time to enter the Holy Kaaba with her husband during its wash thanks to the invitation of the Saudi Royal Family. Heidi reportedly cried inside the Kaaba. In Egyptian folklore the mother who loses a son ,should visit the Holy Land whether in Hajj or in Omra.

This little piece of news which came originally from Saudi press created controversy somehow. Alaa's fans praised him as a devoted Muslim while Alaa's haters "mostly from opposition" wondered till when the Mubaraks will receive this royal treatment ; Heidi is not the first Muslim woman to lose a son in the Arab world.
Both views are correct and as much as I wonder about this treatment , I do not like to intervene or discuss the religious believes of anyone.
Strangely nobody is speaking about Hosni Mubarak , yes the father. It has been ages since Mubarak did a Omra not to mention a Hajj. Rumors say that he was once in Omra and his body guards attacked an Egyptian who dared and  told him to fear God inside the Haram itself , I am not sure of how accurate these rumors are but it could be correct with the security craze following him.
Mubarak never goes now to Hajj or Omra ; there was once a summit in Saudi Arabia at the same time of the Kebbah wash and most Arab leaders were invited to enter the Kaaba ; he left at the same day !!?? Nobody is going to harm him or his family there and Alaa's visit is a proof.
Anyhow All what I wish that after their spiritual experience Alaa and Heidi Mubarak rethink about their life.

Should We Not Be Notified With This Weeks Ago ??

Suddenly today I found out from the newspapers that traffic is changed in Mohendessin with no notification from the ministry of interior and ironically the ministry chose vital streets like El-Batal and Gamat Al-Doul to change their movement.
Kindly enough the ministry is giving the people one week to cope with the new changes and after then there will be LE 1000 fine cash and one month in jail penalty for breaking the traffic orders !!
Could not we have be notified about this from a week before !?? Already I think I will take a map with me in order to avoid fines !!
Of course I wish that these changes will solve the terrible traffic jams in Mohendessin which is breaking my nerves everyday and make me want to get the hell out of the whole Giza governorate !!!
Already the last 10 days something was not abnormal in general in Cairo and its traffic , of course nobody speaks because bad traffic has become a feature of Cairo and Giza !!
Update :
Ok first of all here is a nice colored map with the new changes from Al Masry Al Youm

Second good news Al Batal Street is still two ways street , already I could not imagine how they will make on way street in its vital intersection with Gamat Al Doul.

Déjà Vu : Same Time Last Year

I remember that last year at the same time the whole world was protesting in front of embassies and our flags were burned not to mention the photos of Mubarak were torn and burned because of the war in Gaza.

It seems that we are going to see this sad scene again. Last Sunday Jordanians protested in front of our embassy again again burning the photos of Mubarak

Port Mubarak

I believe Hosni Mubarak is trying his best to compete Ramses II by all possible ways whether through breaking the pharaoh's record in staying in rule or having buildings and cities named after him.

Last week the municipal council of Port Said decided to name the third city Mubarak issued a presidential decree to found after him , it will be “Port Mubarak” and thus Port Said governorate will include three cities : Port Said , Port Fouad and Port Mubarak !!

With my all respect Mubarak did nothing compared to both Nasser and Sadat to Port Said , on the contrary he was the one that destroyed the city economically thanks to his presidential decrees '; yes he issued a presidential decree to extend the free zone  law in the governorate for two years , two years only ; Port Said will be no longer Port Said thanks to him !!

By the way I would like to share this video with you , this was from President Sadat’s visit to Port Said, Mubarak was in the same situation decades later and that situation ended by the death of the citizen.
