Breaking News : Ayman Nour on TV

It is first his interview after the release , just after few hours of his release Ayman Nour appeared on Dream TV 2 with Mona Al Shazely.”This post will be updated”

Here are some quick points :

• Nour looks very thin.
• Wearing the tie with the color of his party : Orange
• Nour is still speaking in balanced way , he is so calm , even Mona asked him about this
• He is confident
• Nour considered this decision a late one,that should be taken from 4 years.
• He considered it as good experience ,made him close to God
• A New birth for the Gad party
• Not even six second will make him not to practice politics
• He is not the head of the El Gad party, he is the leader only but officially he resigned from the position of the party’s head
• He did not make any deal ,already he was going to be released in next July 2009 “Mubarak visit is in March 2009”
• It is not good to say that Al Sadat visited him in his dream.I see Kamal in Rosa Al Youssef and Ibrahim in Al Gomhouria mocking it
• I think he was referring to Mustafa Bakery as the journalist he referred to anonymously
• To the Egyptian regime : The inner front needs a reconciliation ,just like what the Egyptian regime does abroad between the Palestinians
• He spoke about his letter to Obama defending himself. He was expressing his opinion and does not regret it.
• He believes that there was not a pressure from the States because it is too late,why suddenly the States remembered him now. This is what he thinks of course.

He is a free man again !!

This is the news of the day , sorry the week or rather the month.
Ayman Nour is free man again. The general prosecutor has ordered the release of Ayman Nour for health reasons.
I am so happy, thank God ,this came out from prison alive :).
It seems that Mubarak really wants to meet Obama and it seems that Obama and his administration won’t give up the reforms condition.  The Washington Post was speaking from two days ago that Mubarak wanted to meet with Obama in the first 100 days and the White House put some conditions : The Release of Ayman Nour and the Return of Saad El-Din Ibrahim.
Here is the first condition fulfilled but what about Ibrahim !!?? We Shall see ;)
Nour is free again and he is in home now.He spoke to the BBC and probably now there is hundreds of reporters from around the globe want to talk him.
To tell you the truth I did not believe that he was going to be released but there was one single move I should have paid more attention to : When his front took control of the Gad party again. I should have known better that there was some kind of changes coming on the way.
I am really happy despite I am not a member in his party or a supporter but I am so happy.
Everybody is Happy ,even my grand ma is happy , she thanked God. 
Ayman Nour is free again and what is better than that is he said that he will continue his political career again ;)

Follow Up : The Pharmacists Strike’s results

It seems that the Pharmacists strike reached to an end after days of serious strike. I could not post anything in the morning because the news was not confirmed in the media.

The Pharmacists has put the strike on hold. They reached to an agreement with the ministry of finance.

That stupid decision to make them pay the old taxes starting from 2005 is cancelled.

There will be negotiations with the ministry of finance regarding the news taxes.

And “this is another big news” the minister of Finance Youssef Ghali called the head of the Pharmacists syndication to apologize personally for the statements of Ashraf Al Arabi :)

I am happy ,this is a successful strike seriously .

I hope that other people who suffer in other professions take the Pharmacists and also the Real estate tax collectors as model examples.

Those few seconds were enough

Last night Ahmed Nazif, our prime minister spoke in the popular TV show El-Beit Batik , he had to speak to the people about the economic crisis we are beginning to feel more and more.

I only watched few seconds from the interview , I could not complete it , I respect my mind and turned the channel.

In those few seconds I found him answering a question regarding the businessmen in his cabinet in this way

Are the ministers in the Defense and interior ministries form the businessmen ??

You know despite that he is older than me ,I wanted to ask him :

Are you f*cking kidding !!??

His answer was enough to me to know to where he was heading !!!

The problem in men like Nazif is that they think that they are dealing with idiots !!

Another round in the Arabs Vs. Persians

One of the Iranian officials has threatened Bahrain ,claiming that some of the Bahraini isles are originally Iranian. It is dangerous statement for sure that I do not know why some Iranian official would say such stupid statement when they need their neighbours to be on their side.
The Emirati Isles problem is still standing against having normal relations with Tehran in the Gulf.
Anyhow Mubarak visited Bahrain in a move described by many a message to Tehran that Egypt backs up Bahrain,for sure Egypt backs up Bahrain but I wonder if that were a real move not a stunt in the media war against Tehran.

Of course Tehran apologized for its statement saying it respected the sovereignty of the small neighbour not because of Mubarak’s visit I am afraid but because Bahrain has threatened to cut the gas supply from Iran.
There are some rumours in Tehran saying that Egypt is hosting MKP in its land, this is nonsense,pure nonsense. !!

As you see this was in one week or two weeks , another round in the Arabs Vs. Persians rivalry war !!

Some people will say that Iran had the excuse because its neighbours are allies to America and host the American troops which are a threat to the national security of Iran. Well this is partially correct because on the other hand the Gulf States also fear Iran , this fear is an old one I am afraid. It goes back to the time of the Shah, do not forget the Emirates Isles were invaded in his time by his orders with the approval of the States to be more accurate.

Saddam was supported by the Gulf States in the first Gulf war against Iran for fear of Iran and its attempts to export the Islamic revolution.Those stupid statements from the Iran won’t calm down the Arab neighbours regardless of what you think. It is something logic. Those conservatives should understand this.

I know the rivalry between us and Iran is kind of historical one but history also showed us that we lived for centuries in Peace and harmony , we need this now more than anytime.

The Question now : What if insh Allah Khatami wins the Presidential elections in Tehran ?? Will our policies differ towards our Persian neighbour ?? For Sure Khatami's policies will differ towards its neighbour.
I know that we have our ups and downs with the Iranians especially us the Egyptians because we are both important historical regional powers but I wish that we find a way to solve our historical stupid rivalry conflicts with the Iranians , after all if we managed to find Peace with the Israelis I think we can find a way to have Peace with the Iranians.

Follow Up : Bushidoff’s list

Nabil El-Bushi’s case has not finished yet , in fact it has just started,the man is already in Dubai and has returned yet. The victims’ lawyers in Egypt are trying to include his name to the Interpol wanted list.

The media in Egypt I know is waiting for more details about the so-called blessing lists of El Bushi , oh yes El-Bushi made threat that if he is arrested in Egypt ,he will reveal the ministers currently in office and their sons who gave him money to invest it in the stock market. There are rumours that he gave a return on investment equals to 180% !! Again do not ask me how !!??

This is expected , just like the Old Riyan and his blessing lists. I do not think that he was bluffing after all the names  in the list for sure were his key to attract those celebs and businessmen in Egypt to trust him with their millions in this way.

It is highly expected that El-Bushi will join his friends from the runaways either in London or Athens or Switzerland for his silence , it is a rule.

An interesting side Remark :

Egypt saw 600 Ponzi schemes in the last 3 years, the total money losses in these schemes are L.E 4.5 Billion !!

Also speaking about the Ponzi schemes , we should not forget about Madoff , the biggest Ponzi schemer in the world , already they should change the term Ponzi Scheme in to a Madoff Scheme. Now here is the complete list of Madoff’s victims “about 163 pages to be accurate”

Follow Up : Blue Star in the Red Sea

The Blue Star is still in the red Sea and has not returned yet from its damned voyage. The families of the crew are extremely angry and they have to.

It turns out among the reasons of its delayed return is that there are so many mediators who are offering to deliver the ransom , the Egyptian negotiators fear that those mediators can steal the ransom in the end.

According to press reports the ransom will be delivered to the pirates through two ways. Either it will be delivered to the Spokesperson of the pirates in Kenya Mr. Ali Youssef “Oh yes they have a spokesperson dear !!”

Or the ransom will be thrown directly on the pirates ship from a helicopter !!

I will dare and dream that there is another hidden option which is saving those hostages by a military operation :) We can do it , we did harder than it in 1970s !!!
