Alaa Abdel Fattah is a free man again

After a bitter and prolonged legal struggle, the famous Egyptian-British Blogger Alaa Abdel Fattah.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi granted a presidential pardon to six prisoners, including the Egyptian-British blogger and human rights activist Alaa Abdel Fattah, for the remainder of their sentences earlier Monday.

Alaa Abdel Fattah was released early Tuesday morning, and he arrived at his house in Dokki from the police station when his family, friends and reporters were waiting for him at the prison. 

So, the family went back, and we saw those wonderful photos and videos.

15 political detainees released in Egypt

Egypt’s High State security prosecution ordered on Thursday the release of 15 political opposition detainees including Dr. Hassan Nafaa, Dr. Shady El-Ghazly Harb and Hazem Abdel Azim.

Dr. Hassan Nafaa was arrested during September 2019 arrests following the videos of whistleblower Mohamed Ali and the famous 20 September protests.
Both El-Ghazly Harb and Hazem Abdel Azim were arrested in 2018.

The release of those activists comes amidst a campaign organized by opposition parties and powers in Egypt for a week or two now calling for the release of detainees because of Coronavirus concerns. Among those who spoke openly about this campaign was Mohamed ElBaradei.

Thanks for the great four ladies who stood alone on Wednesday in a protest in downtown Cairo demanding the release of detainees over Coronavirus concerns.

Those four ladies are Ahdaf Soueif, Laila Soueif, Mona Seif and Rabab El-Mahdy.
They were arrested and accused of a bunch of charges, but they were released on LE 5000 bail each early Thursday morning.

They paid the bail, but they have been released at last after many hours. Dr. Laila Soeuif was taken to High State security prosection where she found herself accused with set new charges in a Case.
She was released on LE 3000 bail pending investigation.

Egypt’s ministry of health announced Wednesday evening that  46 new positive Corona cases have been registered in Egypt raising the COVID-19 total patients in the country to 256

It also recorded one death

On 18 March 2020 

Egypt’s ministry of health announced Wednesday evening that 14 new positive Corona cases have been registered in Egypt raising the COVID-19 total patients in the country to 210.

It was 196 last night.


There have been no more fatalities and the number of fully recovered cases that left the quarantine hospital increased to 28.

The Egyptian armed forces denied rumors that a curfew was going to impose nationwide Wednesday evening.

The numbers are evolving within hours. Egypt’s ministry of health has announced that the number of Coronavirus patients officially in the country increased to 196 after registering 30 new positive cases since its last update. The ministry also announced that 2 Coronavirus patients have passed away increasing the death toll in Egypt to 6.

More details and more news are merging about the virus and how it reached several governorates “Provinces or states”. I am returning back to the live blog option because things are moving rapidly by the hours. It is no longer recap thing with things changing so rapidly.
I know that the Egyptian government is trying to flat the curve but it seems that we have to go through the peak, unfortunately.

Egypt's former despot Hosni Mubarak passes away : A Day recap

Egypt's former president Mohmed Hosni Mubarak passed away reportedly earlier Tuesday in Cairo according to family and officials.

The day started like another day with a rumor spreading like the fire that Hosni Mubarak passed away and his lawyer Fareed Deeb denying the rumor in Al-Watan yet after one hour it was confirmed that the 92-years old despot passed away.

The long time despot who was ousted on 11 February 2011 died after a struggle with illness. It seems that he suffered from some sort of cancer.
Mubarak underwent two surgeries since late January including one from a couple of days ago.
Yes, the excellent medical care made survive all those years but he was too old to survive two surgeries in a short time

According to sources from here and there, the initial plan was to have a short funeral at New Cairo’s Field Marshal Tantawy’s Mosque complex and to be buried on Tuesday on the same day.

It was unclear what kind of funeral the long time president would have because simply he and his sons were convicted of corruption and public funds embezzlement in the trial commonly known by “The presidential Palaces” trial in May 2015. That court ruling was upheld in January 2016 by the court of cassation.

The Mubaraks also requested to reinstate political rights stripped after their conviction in a corruption case in 2015 but Egypt’s court of cassation rejected their plea officially in September 2018.

Officially in September 2018, the 1928-born Mounfia born was Egypt’s first president and ruler to be convicted in the modern history of the country since the 19th century.

According to this court ruling, this conviction deprives him and his sons Gamal and Alaa of their political rights, presidential benefits and military honors because that convection and the crime are related to honor.

This is the Egyptian law. 

And Ibrahim Mahlab’s Cabinet has resigned !!

From few minutes ago, the cabinet led by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has resigned and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has accepted its resignation.
The current cabinet will remain as a caretaker for another week according to Presidency.
President El-Sisi has assigned Sherif Ismail , the minister of petroleum and mineral sources in Mahlab’s cabinet to form the new cabinet.

Ironically on Thursday , PM Mahlab held a cabinet meeting where it was announced that there would be no more resignations after the minister of agriculture’s resignation earlier last week.
Now the whole cabinet has resigned !!

That’s a tough week for Mahlab. Starting with the minister of agriculture’s resignation because of his involvement in Corruption case to his latest embarrassment in Tunisia.
There were rumors that at least 9 other ministers in Mahlab’s cabinet were involved in other corruption scandals by the Administrative Control Authority “ACA”.
Now regarding Sherif Ismail.
Graduated in 1978 as a mechanic engineer, Ismail was appointed as the minister of petroleum and mineral sources in Egypt on 13 July 2013 serving in all the cabinets under Adly Mansour and El-Sis's administration.

Since 1979, Ismail has been working in the petroleum field in Egypt.
I do not know if choosing Ismail was the best choice considering Egypt's huge economic problems.
By the way, a new cabinet will be formed after electing the new parliament in November or December if  I am not mistaken. So technically, Ismail's cabinet will live nearly 4 months and then submit its resignation to the parliament according to the Constitution.

The blood cycle won’t stop in #Egypt “Updated”

Earlier today, Egypt’s Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat survived was killed in an assassination attempt in Heliopolis where a car carrying TNT targeted his car convoy in his way to work in Downtown Cairo.
The explosions resulted from the attacks were heard in Heliopolis. The photos are showing a huge explosion. At least ten were killed in the explosion including the prosecutor general appointed in July 2013 following the ouster of Morsi.

Already 4 cars were reportedly torched down and 30 other cars in the area were destroyed.

Huge explosion hits Mansoura security directorate

Huge explosion has hit Mansour late night from a short time ago. The explosion was heard all over the city and even rocked the houses.
The explosion was too strong that it affected all the buildings in the area for radius of 200 meters according to the eye witnesses. At least 3 are reportedly killed and 50 have been injured. The numbers can increase. I am praying that it would remain like that. Updated at 1:38 PM:  The MOH stated the death total increased to 13 and the injured increased to over 100. It is like a war scene now in Mansoura.
The right part of the security directorate was collapsed. In fact from the photos tweep Ahmed El Shabrawy there is huge destruction as it turned out that this area got lots of old buildings there.

This is the second time a bomb attack would target the security directorate there. It is the largest so far in Egypt.
No one has claimed responsibility so far.
Of course people on twitter sitting on their asses from their homes and even from outside Mansoura as well Egypt are spreading their own analysis who stood behind the attack ad why just one hour after it takes place.
Needless to say, the Muslim Brotherhood is the primary suspect especially some claim that the decision to freeze the assets of more than 100 NGOs in Egypt on Monday most Islamist NGOs is the reason why.
Some claim that the revolutionaries are behind this because they were exposed of receiving foreign money .. etc.
The Muslim Brotherhood supporters are claiming that businessman Naguib Sawiris is behind the blast with his so-called “Christian Militia”
Some say that it is a bombed car while other sitting on their asses copying pasting from each other claim that there were three bombs !!
Yes all this has been said on the Egyptian social media in less than two hours after the blast.
Of course seeing the amount of damage in Mansoura , I would say that this had been planned for in advance from more than a week for instance. It is not something you decide on the same day.
The Muslim Brotherhood is denouncing the attack and so on but no one is buying it. Now TV channels are calling for the complete execution of the MB. 
To be honest I am thinking of Ansar Beit El Maqdus , the militant Salafist Jihadist group in Sinai. Already their operations reached to Cairo so I won’t be surprised that they are standing behind this attack.
May Allah bless the souls of those who were killed tonight and bring peace to the land of Egypt.
Another sad night , they are too many in the past months.

Breaking : #Morsi Refuses to Give up "Updated"

And I think the negotiations between the army and Mohamed Morsi or rather the Muslim brotherhood have reached to dead end.
From few moments ago we found the official twitter account of Mohamed Morsi saying the following :

President Mohamed Morsi will hold on the constitutional legitimacy and refuses any attempts to turn against it. He also calls the army to reverse its ultimatum and refuses any domestic or foreign orders.  

This is a confrontation not only with the public and the Egyptian army but also with the States that called Morsi to hold early Presidential elections.I do not know if this is crazy or not.
Since early morning and almost everybody with access to real informed sources in Cairo knew that Morsi was holding talks with El Sisi. All predictions were betting that by tonight or tomorrow's morning there will  be a comprise.
These bets were enforced by the fact that state owned Ahram's issue tomorrow published in its front page.

Ahram Daily is no longer following the MB but it is back to the army right.
I think he is trying to pull Erdogan here. Unfortunately he does not know that Turkey is not Egypt for real and people can not stomach the Muslim brotherhood anymore.

Morsi has addressed the nation from few minutes ago on National TV. To be accurate he addressed his supporters. Stressing over and over on his legitimacy, Morsi sent indirect messages to the army and El Sisi as well the people. I will not quote him. 
The National TV is controlled now by the army FYI.I do not know what will happen tomorrow. I fear it for real.

Sexual Torture in #Egypt Continues in time of #Morsi "Graphic +18"

Today the world celebrate the International Day in support of victims of torture . I do not think that people should only speak up against torture today but they have to shout against torture everyday.
On Sunday Al Nadeem Center , Egyptian Initiative for Personal rights and Mosireen Collective published a statement about sexual torture in Egypt and how Morsi's regime is using it after Mubarak.  The statement considered the sexual assaults and harassment in Tahrir square more of an attempt to scare women protesters like what happened in 2005 during Mubarak's rule.
The statement says that the sexual torture is being used not to get confessions in Egypt but to humiliate victims.
The two human rights organizations cooperated with the Media collective Mosireen and produced this video below. The video got English subtitles and it is heart breaking. It includes the testimonies of some sexual torture victims in Egypt from the time of Mubarak to SCAF to Morsi, the first democratically elected President.The video includes well known victims of sexual torture like Emad El Kebeer and Samira Ibrahim as well less known victims. It is heart breaking and includes graphic details "+18"
As a Muslim I do not know what Mohamed Morsi will say in front of God in the judgement day when he will be asked about those tortured under his rule and why he did not help them or stop torture.
If you are going to protest on Sunday against Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim brotherhood then do not forget you should protest against torture in Egypt and you want to stop it forever.

Kidnapped Soldiers appear in Video "Updated"

In a major development today a video surfaced online allegedly for the 7 kidnapped soldiers in Sinai. The kidnapped soldiers identified them and their ages. They demanded to President Morsi to release all Sinai's political detainees. They are blindfolded. They say that they are tortured. They are begging Morsi to release the detainees especially Sheikh Hamda Abu Sheita. "Updated : The video has been removed because it violates YouTube's policy regarding violence"

Said the soldier Sobhi who directed his talk to both Morsi and El Sisi.
Hamda Abu Sheita was the one who was allegedly tortured till he lost his sight in Tora prison last week. Abu Sheita was one of the leading figures in the Salafist Jihadists trend in North Sinai. He was arrested last year.
It is just sad video. The average age of the poor soldiers is 20 years.
The video is uploaded by "SSAS SSAS" channel in YouTube. The user has joined the video uploading service only today. It was uploaded from 7 hours ago and strangely only now people are paying attention.There is no official reaction about it so far.

Soldiers Kidnapped In #Sinai , Let’s Prayer They Will Return Back Alive

I just woke up to know the most annoying news ever , 7 soldiers in Sinai have been kidnapped near Al Arish. The soldiers from army central security forces were kidnapped earlier Thursday from Al Arish international highway. They are 6 CSF conscripts and one army conscript from the borders guards. They were heading back to Cairo on a vacation.

Officially we do not know who the kidnappers are but security sources told ONA that the kidnappers are the families of a group of locals arrested for storming Al Arish police station. The source added those arrested locals are facing death penalty and that a communication channel with the kidnappers.

News sources also say that the kidnappers have released one CSF conscript from short time ago.

There is news that Morsi has summoned both the ministers of defense and interior to meeting at the Presidential Palace. Of course some army sources deny this and is claiming that El Sisi of defense is following the rescue efforts from the ministry of defense. While other sources including Eman Abdel Moneim , the Presidency Correspondence in Anadolu news agency in Egypt says that the meeting was over.

Nevertheless it is logic that no the army , the police and intelligence are doing their best to save the soldiers because without doubt this reminds people including me with the fiasco of the army soldiers massacre in August 2012.

As it is main suspect in the August 2012 brutal army soldiers attack on the borders, Hamas has issued a quick statement denying any relation with the kidnap of the soldiers.

The Pro-Army and Anti-Muslim brotherhood people now on social media of course are speaking about a huge conspiracy taking place against El Sisi to kick him out of the army by the Muslim brotherhood. Well I do not know what conspiracies but there is a problem when soldiers are kidnapped like that in Sinai.

The story is developing , let’s hope that our army and police soldiers return safe and in one piece.

And the battle between the Judiciary and presidency continues

Today the Cairo Appeal has overturned President Morsi's decision to dismiss former prosecutor general Abdel Maguid Mahmoud in a new confrontation between judiciary and presidency or in other words judiciary and the Muslim brotherhood.
Now according to this court ruling Morsi's decision to appoint Talaat Abdullah as prosecutor general is cancelled. 
There is a lot of talk , legal talk now regarding the meaning of that court ruling and whether the presidency will appeal or not. Some legal expert I spoke with earlier today told me that Abdel Maguid Mahmoud should be reinstated accordingly even for 24 hours than to resign so the Supreme judiciary council would choose a new prosecutor general.
Other legal experts say that Abdel Maguid Mahmoud will not be reinstated but legally his term was over and so the Supreme judiciary council will choose from 3 candidates according to the constitution.Some say the ruling can be appealed while others believe it is not.
Former prosecutor general Abdel Maguid Mahmoud told Anadolu news agency that he was going to study the court ruling and its reasoning in order to see what he will do next.
The case was filed by two lawyers including loudmouthed bigger than life lawyer Mortada Mansour.

Breaking : Arrest Warrants issued in “Mount Battle”

The prosecutor general office has announced from short time that arrest warrants have been issued against activists Alaa Abdel Fatah , Ahmed Douma , Karim El Shaer ,  Hazem Abdel Azim and Ahmed Eid. According to the arrest warrant , the five are banned from travel.
The prosecutor general also order to request the interrogation of Nawara Negm.
The 6 activists are being reported by allegedly a number of political figures and parties “Mainly MB and Islamists” to the public prosecutor and are being accused of inciting violence , destroying properties and attacking people. There are 4 CDs with videos, screenshots from their social media accounts and photos prove their guilty in calling people to torch down the Muslim brotherhood’s headquarters and killing MB members.
Yes there is a new arrest warrant for Alaa , it is unbelievable !! Alaa has broke all records by having arrest warrants in time of Mubarak, SCAF and Morsi !!
There have been leaks regarding these warrants since early morning and we are expecting even more warrants. “Not less than 100 warrants actually”
There are online calls urging these names not to surrender to the prosecutor general. Already Karim El Shaer has announced from short time on Facebook that he will not surrender to the prosecutor general’s order because he does not recognize this prosecutor general. El Shaer believes that this order proves that Morsi’s regime was walking on the same path of Mubarak and that he will continue to fight till it is downed. El Shaer was arrested during Mubarak’s rule by the way. 
By the way I would like to know why there was no arrest warrant or investigation issued against the MB official filmed at the Presidential Palace for the illegal detention and torture of Egyptian citizens on December 5,2012 at the presidential Palace.

 Nawara Negm commented on the decision on ONTV channel from short awhile ago saying that she will not go to the interrogation and she does not care about imprisonment. Already both her parents were from the most famous political prisoners in time of Nasser and Sadat.

My comment about #Morsi and his decree

Despite their hate to Nasser , the Muslim brotherhood and its man in the presidential palace Mohamed Morsi is walking on his foot steps directly. Today constitution declaration makes from Morsi a god whose orders and decrees can not be disputed in front of courts allegedly for four months. Morsi is the new pharaoh but only God knows who will Moses.

The international community will not open its mouth because the United States prefers dictators plus he managed to get that truce between Hamas and Israel.
I am furious and angry. I do not care about the public prosecutor in this degree nor do I care about the superficial money aids to martyrs' families and injured. I care about the bigger picture.

Tomorrow there will be protests in Tahrir square

Breaking News : Truce between #Gaza and #Israel to start at 9 CLT

Minister of foreign affairs Mohamed Kamel Amr has announced from short time ago that a truce deal has been reached between Palestinian groups and Israel in a press conference held with Hilary Clinton in Cairo.
According to this truce there will be a cease fire that will start from 9 PM Cairo local time. Till 9 PM Cairo local time each team got some time to kill the other !!!
Anyhow let’s pray that this nightmare ends tonight for real. Ironically that nightmare started last Wednesday !!

Agreement of Understanding For a Ceasefire in the Gaza Strip

1: (no title given for this section)

A. Israel should stop all hostilities in the Gaza Strip land, sea and air including incursions and targeting of individuals.
B. All Palestinian factions shall stop all hostilities from the Gaza Strip against Israel including rocket attacks and all attacks along the border.
C. Opening the crossings and facilitating the movements of people and transfer of goods and refraining from restricting residents' free movements and targeting residents in border areas and procedures of implementation shall be dealt with after 24 hours from the start of the ceasefire.
D. Other matters as may be requested shall be addressed.
2: Implementation mechanisms:

A. Setting up the zero hour for the ceasefire understanding to enter into effect.
B. Egypt shall receive assurances from each party that the party commits to what was agreed upon.
C. Each party shall commit itself not to perform any acts that would breach this understanding. In case of any observations Egypt as the sponsor of this understanding shall be informed to follow up.

This is victory for Post Revolution Egypt in diplomacy. 

Breaking : Syrian Tanks in Golan , why Now !?

AP has just announced from few minutes ago that 3 Syrian tanks have entered the demilitarized zone in Golan.
What does Bashar El Assad want to do ?? Why suddenly did he decide to escalate the matter ?? What are these tanks doing !?
Many questions in my mind now. Wait for more updates. 
Well the IDF spokesperson for Arab Media has not tweeted yet what happened but it seems that officially Israel has already reacted and presented a very quick complaint to the UN regarding the Syrian regime's violation to UN and Security council resolution.
Now according to activists the 3 Syrian tanks entered the villages "Al Buraykah and Bir Jam" that are only few kilometers from Syrian Israeli borders.

Breaking : Morsi cancels the constitutional declaration Annex

Ok more presidential decrees no one expected just an hour before breakfast.
President Mohamed Morsi has just cancelled the constitutional declaration annex issued by SCAF to restore his full powers as the President of State. Now Morsi got the same powers of Mubarak technically.
He also appointed judge Ahmed Mekky , the member of constituent assembly “close to Islamists” and the famous reformist judge as his vice president. "I knew that he could not appoint someone with bigger charisma like Abu El Fotouh”
The presidential decrees did not stop at that because much important decrees are :

• Forcing Field Marshal Tantawy , the minister of defense and head of SCAF and Sami Anan , the chief of staff in the Egyptian armed forces in to retirement.
• Appointing General Abdel Fatah El Sissy as the minister of defense and General commander of the Egyptian armed forces."The commander of military intelligence"
• Appointing General Sadky Sobhy as the chief of staff of the armed forces. “The commander of third army”
• Appointing Major General Mohamed El Assar as the minister of defense assistant
• Appointing General Mohab Mamish as the CEO of Suez Canal authority. “Morsi held a meeting with the former CEO of SCA yesterday’s night as far as I know”

This is the biggest military reshuffle ever. Unfortunately I will not be able to comment now as I am heading to some old friends reunion Iftar after less than 1/2 hour and I have not even get dressed yet !!
Quickly , it is quick safe exist which the generals hinted before about “Tantawy’s retirement”. The scary part is that we do not have a constitution and Morsi got a Godlike powers just like Mubarak. It is amicable reshuffle by the approval and blessings of the generals. In fact these appointments are by their recommendations in nutshell.

Ok Mohamed El Assar is the US man in Cairo , this reshuffle got the American blessing without doubt. The Muslim brotherhood and their Youth are crazy tonight with their victory ,the old regime supporters and Anti-MB fraction are stunned , shocked and afraid from the future. There are lots of rumors now about the fate of Tantawy and Anan , whether they did not know or did know or whether they are under house arrest or not. 

#Sinai : We have seen this coming

Just from minutes ago it was announced that a number of Egyptian policemen and soldiers have been shot in Sinai in some terrorist act.
According to early reports a terrorist group allegedly attacked the central security forces camp on the Egyptian Israeli borders “Rafah” killing not less than 15 soldier and officer and stealing at least one vehicle before heading to Israeli borders. The vehicles were allegedly used in some operation in Gaza , it is chaotic !!
Now Reuters says that 20 solider and officer which means a whole unit while from the Thalatheen hospital in Al Arish we find that 16 have been killed and 6 were badly injured.
From what I understand the unit was having their breakfast.A source says that this massacre took place shortly before breakfast !!
I am so shocked. Now the army allegedly has sent its elite 777 special forces unit to the area.
This attacks comes shortly after the official Israeli warnings to its citizens to leave Sinai specifically from Taba immediately because Israeli citizens allegedly are in danger of being kidnapped.

This is not the first time Israel issues a warning to its citizens and then a terrorist attack happens , you can check my blog when it comes to Sinai !!
Of course I can not forget how the officials in Egypt said that we should not be worried from Israeli warnings as it is a dirty trick to hit Egyptian tourism !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interestingly also took place at the same time Israel is attacking Gaza !!
There are lots of conspiracy theories now , I will not waste my time nor yours in sharing them for now but one thing for sure is not a conspiracy theory : From months local tribes and activists in Sinai have warned from the militant Islamist cells from Jihadist who were let mess around Sinai with the approval of security apparatus for stupid evil reason for sure.
Those who play with fire , who will get burned and as we say in Egypt the only who brings a jinn should know how to get rid of !! I am furious because I feel
Nothing on the National Egyptian TV , we get the info from Israel as usual before Egypt. The IDF killed the terrorists and saved the day !!

It turns out that terrorist cells in Sinai distributed from 3 days flyer threatening to target Egyptian security forces !!
According to Adraee , the Spokesperson of IDF in Arabic the IDF in quick action saved Israel from big operation
Up till now there is nothing official from Egypt. Up till this moment no Egyptian official spoke to the media from the army or the presidency. The MB boys are saying that President Morsi has ordered an urgent meeting for SCAF and national security council

The army and police boys say that the 777 is on its way. Adraee has just posted this photo exclusively in his twitter account showing one of our military vehicles burned

Gendelman also revealed that 7 terrorists were killed in the operation , 4 terrorists were killed in Israel and 3 in Egypt "Who killed those 3 in Egypt !!" Just in less than 2 hours we find Adraee saying that one of the terrorists involved in the operation was a man called Ahmed Said Ismail from El Tofah quarter in Gaza who is also a member in the international Jihad group !! All the information is claiming from Israel , it is so 1960s !! Now to Egypt the ministry of health officially stated that 15 were killed and 9 were badly injured. Now for what happened in Rafah . Both friends Ahmed Raged and Mohamed Fadel got some interesting info each. Ahmed Rageb , one of Egypt's best investigative reporters who writes in Al Masry Al Youm says that according to his sources 3 Land Rover vehicles carrying militants attacked a check point made of 23 soldier and officers using machine guns , they killed 13 and injured 10 before stealing a vehicle. Rageb did a report from several months ago about Jihadists in Sinai as well Egyptian POWs. Now the same version was repeated by Mohamed Fadel, CNN's correspondent in Sinai who is from the few journalists that know Sinai for real.Fadel added that the militants were masked. Moving to North Sinai according to some Unofficial FB page the CSF has stormed the tunnels closing them for the first time since the January 25 Revolution . The page claims that 17 masked men were killed by security forces. As soon as the locals in Rafah knew about the attack , they headed to El Arish hospital to donate blood for their brothers. At 11:52 PM we found out through Egyptian TV that President Morsi held a meeting with Tantawy , Anan and Mourad Mwafi , the head of the intelligence. Already it was announced that he will address the nation soon. I do not know when !! 

The presidency issued a statement condemning the attack and presenting it condolences to the families of the victims vowing for harsh response. 

The Egyptian government decided to close the Rafah crossing indefinitely 

Now officially the death toll has reached to 16 , 3 badly injured victims have been transferred to Cairo.

Some sources close to Police forces say that they are actually 30 !!
