And it has become the Israeli-Egyptian siege after all!!

I found this article by Palestinian American journalist Ahmed Moore in Huffington Post :

Breaking the Israeli-Egyptian Siege of Gaza !!!

I did  not read the article first because I kept reading the headline and trying to stop myself from crying !! Thank you President Mubarak for making Egypt accomplice in this inhuman crime.

The rest of the article as you guess blame us and considered Egypt accomplice in the siege while it is the Mubarak's regime that is accomplice.

  1. The comments section in the article is even more depressing. I can't imagine the pure apathy displayed by the people there!

Dear Zeinobia, look, the so humble people of Mauritania managed to force their government to close the Israeli embassy in their country. It is your turn great people of Egypt to follow suit.

  3. Mubarak and his cronies must go.

It is evident that the ruling classes in Egypt have become infinitely more corrupt than those who were around in 1967.

Who would rid Egypt of its Pharaoh and his brat? Any takers?

At the moment no one but Dr. El Baradei seems willing to take on the responsibility to try to bring about change.

I pray that God helps the Egyptians....But

So it is up to us. Can we change or will we continue down the slippery slope until there is neither a crumb or a drop of water to be found in the land?

  4. I am sorry to say this, but this had nothing to do with Mubarak or whatsoever. The attack was performed by Israelis alone. As you should know, is that the border of Egypt-Gaza isn't closed 100%. From time to time the blockade is removed. Or am I wrong?

  5. Medsha,
    Shame on you!
No one said that Egypt participated in the attack.
The fact that there is a wall built on the Egyptian border is absolutely disgraceful.
It means that the dictator of Egypt is helping and supporting the blockade that the zionist jewish colony is imposing on the Palestinians.
How would you like it if you were imprisoned in your home for years, not able to go out, not having enough to eat or drink or to buy medicine or to go to a decent hospital if you needed a major operation or even to go to a university? Would that be acceptable to you?

  6. That would not be acceptable. But that isn't the case at all at Egypt's side. These things are offered by Egypt. Thing is, the border is closed because Hamas is a hostile party to Egypt since they are related to the MB.

Anyway, the borders are currently open for an unlimited time right now at Egypt's side.
