Bomb Egypt then

I would like to dedicate this post by Israeli Mom to our fine Egyptian administration to know what some people in Israel believe and think !!

In fact I will quote what she said here :

Last, but not least - Gaza shares a border with Egypt too. Israel cannot blockade Gaza from all directions, even if it wanted to. If we could do that, maybe there would have been no Grad rockets launched at us now. You see, Egypt controls Gaza’s southern border, and apparently is quite strict about that area too. I don’t see Hamas launching rockets at Egyptian military bases over there though. If the “siege” is the reason for the hostilities, why shoot at Israel and not at Egypt?

Even the Israelis !!

I just want to say something to Israeli Mom , as much as it kills me to say it but dear Israeli mom it is your government and the American administration who forced my weak government to close the borders !!

  2. Look at the bright side. If they bombed Egypt as well, that would potentially mean "killing a top Egyptian official"! If mother nature and all the assasination attempts could not help us get rid of "you know who", maybe the Zionists are the solution. I hope they all burn in hell, including the top Egyptian official!!

  3. Hi Zeinobia - thanks for the post. I think ;)

    It's an interesting perspective that you bring up, but I think maybe Egyptian officials should be given a bit more credit for their own decision to object to Hamas.

    The Egyptian Foreign Minister has been quite vocal in his criticism of Hamas. It's not just a question of "obeying" American pressure (and I really don't think Israel can pressure Egypt into anything). He was stating a clear Egyptian stand there.

    It makes sense too. I am not an expert on Egypt, so forgive me if I got this one wrong (and I'll be happy to stand corrected), but from what I hear, radical Islamic movements are a major threat to the current Egyptian regime. Hamas is the natural ally of those forces, and as such, the Egyptian government is acting in its own best interests when opposing Hamas.

    I'm afraid I am not very familiar with your views, but I truly believe that those that have the benefit of the Palestinians and the entire Middle East at heart, should be opposing Hamas. Encourage the moderate Palestinians, not for the love of Israel (which even they don't have much of, understandably), but for giving the Palestinians people a real chance at independence and a good life.

    Peace.

  4. Israeli mom;
    who told you Egypt is closing borders with Gaza? are you lying or just an ignorant?

    we opened it for wounded people and we won’t allow Gaza’s garbage to enter and ruin our country, we let as i heard on BBC yesterday all the garbage Palestinian to go out to Gaza

    if you think israel is a bad place why don’t you just immigrate, merge or leave.

    and please don’t visit my blog anymore!!
