Good evening,
Here we are with the 26th night of our Radio Arabian Nights for this year.
We will continue our tale for this year, the tale of King Magedwon.

First of all, You can refresh your mind with what happened last night here.
Now without further ado listen to the 759th episode in the Egyptian State’s One Thousand and One Nights or the 26th night in our tale for the year 2020, the tale of King Magedwon after the break.

Yasmine tells her owner, the Shahbander that she will sing to her and be happy on one condition: He buys her cousin Karim who is a slave too. She tells the old man that he is a skilled poet.

The Shahbander orders the slave trader to put Karim on auction and the once crown prince is ordered to recite poetry. His poetry is so perfect that bidders begin to compete to buy him for the highest price.

The Shahbander buys Karim for 200 dinars and takes him and Yasmine to his home. There, he tells Yasmine that she is going to sleep beside his but she should not be afraid because, in his age, he wants only a slave girl to sing for him.

No worries Karim, I won’t touch your cousin, already I sell slaves after having them for one year,” He tells Karim and Yasmine too before she heads to her chamber
He tells Karim that he will sleep in an upstairs-floor besides his son Manar.

Manar is a teen who loves fishing.
Manar comes at the same moment and sees Karim. He shows the two men what he got and amazingly he shows them a very old ring that seems invaluable for his father but extremely valuable to Karim.
It is the Seal of Solomon he dropped in the sea from a couple of weeks ago.
That night he and Yasmine entertain the old man with music and poetry till he sleeps.
In his sleep, Karim tells Yasmine that they must leave this place.

Meanwhile, Shamdwon continues to torture brutally his chamberlain Alwan.
He brings his wife and son to the prison as he is being tortured but he continues to show resilience and refuses to confess anything despite the huge pressure.

Tomorrow inshallah we will know if Alwan gives up or not.
