Oh Lord ! Don't let me be misunderstood

I remember this song when I read the Vatican's comments about the provoking statements of the Pope last Thursday in Germany that attacked Islam and Prophet Mohamed "PBUH".

I am sorry but do they think Muslims are so naive , that they would believe this stupid claim that the Pope' speech was misunderstood !! as It was a scientific lecture plus the Pope wanted to attack the use violence to spread the religion !! Are we that naive to buy such naive comments ??

Sorry but the least thing the Pope can do is to apology to us as Muslims already it won't be the first time , he did it with the Jews

First of all if this were a scientific lecture in a church surely about the Christian faith ,so why he mentioned our religion and its prophet "PBUH" in the first place !! and as I said in my previous post below , he knew the impacts of such statements and he knew very well that the media is following his speech ,so what is going on ??

I am sorry but our religion was called as violent evil religion and our Prophet "PBUH" was called as a coward , so how provoking the Pope wanted his words to be so he and his men would consider it as an insult !!

Second ,it is a joke when the Catholic Church in Rome speaks about logic,mind,thinking with the core of the religion and the well of God , after was n't this the same Church which for many centuries fought scientists and philosophers ?? Wasn't it the same church that prohibited the books of Arabic philosophy for many centuries in Europe for great philosophers like Ibn Roshad whom I studied for him in high school his theories about the human well and whether he is free to choose his life or forced by the well of God "I took 49/50 in Philosophy" !!?? speaking of mind and thinking with the well of God in Islam in a negative way makes laugh so much especially when the speaker is the head of the Catholic church !!

Third about violence in spreading the religion man those whose houses are of glass shouldn't throw people with stones ,do you remember the inspection courts ?? the compulsion the people of south America and the destruction of their civilizations !!??? The oppression of Jews in the middle ages in Europe?? The destruction of the great libraries of Andulsia because they were about Science and Philosophy and at that time those two things were like black magic against God !!

as if we need it now "The Pope's statements"

As if the world needs more tensions between its major religions in the world :Islam and Christianity !!

Pope Bandict XXI of the Vatican attacked Islam and Prophet Mohamed "PBUH" today in his speech in his visit to Germany.The pope read some excerpts from some Roman or Bezant king attacking prophet Mohamed "PBUH" that he brought to the world an evil religion , the attack didn't stop here but went to the cores of the Islam concerning God's abilities as I believe , saying the mind doesn't accept these abilities !!

I found the news through Al-Jazeera ,it was the main event today ,the opening news, well it should be after all we are speaking about the most holiest figure in the Catholic Christian world attacking the Islam for the first time since he became a Pope.

I want to ask a simple "what was this man thinking when he said whatever he said it ??"

I don't want to say this but this man knows exactly what he  is doing.Already it was a prepared speech ,so sure he and his advisors if he got some , knew that it would be controversial and also provoking to the Muslims , with all the implications that would be caused of their anger.

Till now it didn't break aloud despite the fact both Pakistan and Turkey commented especially the later violently as announced that they may cancel the Pope's visit but I am expected that the Vatican embassies in the Islamic world now are living their worst nightmares.

I believe tomorrow's Friday Al-Azhar will see another strong protests, also the Churches especially the Catholic ones in Egypt will get double security with more guards , not to mention that Universities are going to be opened next Saturday you know like the Denmark crisis but even worst, because in the Denmark we said that it was some Danish atheistic journalist but this time it is the pope himself .

What do he wants ?? a real clash of civilizations based upon religions !!

The Catharsis policy ; the oldest policy in Egypt

The Catharsis policy is what I am going to talk about this time

First what is the meaning of the Catharsis

Catharsis is a noun to describe the relief of strong feelings or tensions by giving vent to them in Art or Drama

The Oxford paperback Dictionary

in Other more easier words Catharsis is to let people express their feelings just for a while through ART or Drama ,you see as the scientific fact says that more pressure and tension can produce explosion , and so people can not stand more pressure in their lives whether emotional or social or economic or political with out explosion and eruption like a big volcano causing one definite bitter fact revolution in their lives . The most desperate person sometimes turns in to a bomb a highly explosive one from keeping his anger down , this anger just needs another push of pressure to explode in the face of other

I guess I explained it enough , now to the Catharsis policy in Egypt

Catharsis policy I guess is a policy used by very intelligent totalitarian dictatorial regimes to control its people in the most efficient way , you see usually in the usual totalitarian dictatorial corrupted regimes ,the freedom of expression and opinion is not allowed by any means at all, you say what you think about the regime and you won't say anything again in this life as you are transferred to the other life , after what happens to you , no one else will dare to open his or her mouth until the load and pressure will be heavy and an explosion will happen on the form of Public revolution , the examples are many and the most important and controversial also is the Iranian example , the Iranian Islamic revolution people wouldn't act as they did from trials to embassies destruction not because Khomeini said so , but it was a reaction what they suffered from years of Oppression and dictatorship of the Shah and his secret service . Yet Intelligent dictatorial regimes are much wiser especially when it is in the rule for a long time

This regime creates an illusion to its own people , a margin of freedom of expression which in reality is a mirage of freedom of expression , this margin or mirage or call it as you like is a vent , small vent rather a room where people just gather and scream as loud as they can ,expressing their anger from everything , scream ,scream and scream , but this small vent or room in fact is anti-sound room , the regime can't hear or rather ignore these screams for anger , yet it observes it and watches to make sure it doesn't cross the limits of its control .

The Channels of this policy are known the media and Art ; Newspapers and magazines attacking the regime and its corruption , the Film industry producing movies that call for freedom and attacking the era

now you got it . It is the one of the oldest tools used by the regime in Egypt whether in Nasser or Mubarak era ,I can't recall its use in Anwar El-Sadaat's.

This policy historically in Egypt was used after the defeat of the six days war in 1967 , if you remember the movies that produced after the defeat you will be surprised that all those movies were produced in Nasser era ,by the Cinema establishment that follows the ministry of culture itself at that time , let's remember the names: Naguib Mahfouz powerful movies of "Miramar" which criticizes the Socialist Union at that time and my favorite masterpiece of "Chitchat over the Nile" which I can't describe it that easily except it described very well the reasons of defeat, "Song over the crossing" based upon a true military story ,it wasn't about Nasser or the army anymore ,it was about the people who make the army, and of course the greatest masterpiece of Egyptian cinema of all time chosen by both movie critics and viewers "Something from fear" by Tharowat Abbatha" , the epic countryside story that criticizes Nasser himself portrayed him as a ruthless gangster

Think again and you will see that those movies for people like the Egyptian people had some kind of relaxing effect

already El-Dostor newspaper from the first page to the last page attacks the old man in a strange way that makes you wonder how they let this newspaper out , yes Ibrahim Eissa is going to trial ,so is Wael El-Ibrashi but in the end they won't go to jail in the last moment because the president who believes in freedom of expression will order of their release.

well I tell you it is simple thing ,this is among the techniques of the famous catharsis policy ,let the people breathe for a while to serve two purposes

1. To protect the regime from public anger as Pressure produces explosion , and people have enough pressure in their life

2. To prove that the regime is a democratic one while it is not , but this is needed to outside world propaganda , for example ,I saw an interview for Gamal Mubarak with LBC TV in the last world economic forum in Sharm El-Sheikh , the first thing he said about the so-called political democratic improvement

"Look to the number of newspapers and see how fierce they are attacking us freely"

But the Catharsis policy doesn't help the dictatorship to stay forever ,it only helps to stay a bit longer , simply because the continuity of any status especially the wrong unjust one is impossible ,as one day those people who are screaming in a room will find there way out

Everybody hates Laila

Can please anyone tell me why all the men in the Egyptian blogsphere hate Laila that much??

We don't hate men ,but hate this treatment !! For God sake even the smallest blame you can't stand it

Syria Lebanon- Lebanon Syria

When we were children we used to play this silly old game "Egypt-Syria" ,two person stand on a straight line and move forward to reach to the other person first and step on his foot ,the two person will be Egypt and Syria ,to see which country is better step over the other country ,silly stupid game ,I traced its origin and I found it goes back to the time when Syria canceled and ended the union with Egypt in 1960 ,every stupid game simply because who will start walking first who will win !! I don't know why I remember this game while following the latest Syrian-Lebanese news

Already there is a talk in the UN and Security Council that there is sudden video tape will be aired soon provided by some Arabic country "X" proves the alleged involvement of the Syrian President and high members of the regime "his brother in Law and brother" in the assassination of late PM Rafik El-Hariri, I don't know which Arabic country intelligence got this video tape but my guessing it may be Saudi Arabia or Jordan ,in some other time I would put Egypt in the list but our old man said in the Army meeting his famous words that Egypt can't abandon Syria and Syria wouldn't do so also ,the same romantic media talk plus Egypt is busy in the coming days with much important stuff "soooooooooon I will speak about", so as you see they want to make Syria the responsible for Hariri's death.

I don't clear the Syrian regime from the guilt,El-Assad threatened El-Hariri once but this doesn't mean he would do it, plus look to the consequences ,if Syria wanted to punish the Lebanese opposition then it turned over its head ,now Syria more than anytime is on the break, its armies left Lebanon,it got no power what so ever in Lebanon right except if you consider their allies and they are consider the minority

I don't know why they creating this enmity between Syria and Lebanon !! I am sorry but it wasn't Syria who killed and bombed Lebanese Civilians. I know very well what the Syrian regime did in Lebanon from crimes just like in Syria , but this create this hate between the Syrian people and Lebanese people,the people themselves. Syrian people themselves ,not the regime,the regular average Syrian Joe "El-Zalma" doesn't like this treatment, in the end it is not Syrian Baath regime that is punished alone but it is the Syrian people and Syria ,and they will pay more then the regime in the end ,in fact they will pay the whole bell ,and the Iraqi experience proved that ,come on in the end all the Syrian Baath regime got accounts in Swiss and Bahamas banks and will escape from Syria and live happily ever after in far away countries leaving the poor Syrian people pay for their mistakes as usual of course supporting Hezbollah is not the mistake ,it may be one of the few things the Syrian regime did right in its miserable bloody history !!

Another  question ; what if this video tape came out and proved that El-Assad ordered his intelligence to get rid from El-Hariri may God bless his soul , what will happen?? will the United Nation issue an order to arrest El-Assad?? Will the Security Council issue sanctions on Syria ?? El-Assad is a president of a country and sanctions will not harm Syria at all because its economy is centralized based one , and those countries are least to be harmed with the sanctions ,come for how long now North Korea got this economic siege and sanction and its regime didn't give up !!??

I am sorry but I won't accept that El-Assad to be punished only because of El-Hariri , El-Assad dynasty must be punished first for they did to the Syrian People, but to use El-Hariri terrible assassination for personal agendas and constructing the new middle East,I am sorry even the late PM minister won't accept it.

Wake up 14th of March your so-called independence will bring invasion to another country

Wake up before you will be cursed in the history books

The end of blockade and the start of the new occupation

Yes Israel ended its air and sea blockade to Lebanon but it was substituted by some kind of new external guardianship that is turning in to some kind of occupation!!

The Unifal will guard the Lebanese shores and airports ,and also the northern borders between Syria and Lebanon too.

The Unifal will search any luggage in the harbors and airports with weight more than 20 kg as Katyusha missiles are weighted 67 kg !!

The french army is back again to Lebanon after 51 years of independence with thousands of soldiers ,same as the Turkish which will return back to Lebanon after 88 years of independence from the Turkish Ottoman rule ,ironically I saw a report on CNN last week about the Lebanese Armani minority objection on the Turkish contribution in the Unifal troops , as some of you may know the Turkish Ottoman armies did massacres against the Armani people in Armani in WWI in year 1915 and till now the Armani people didn't forget it even those who live outside Armenian , anyway their objection got no importance because the Turks are coming back to Lebanon whether they like it or not.

I will confess something that may surprise some people but please read it carefully.

I don't why I feel that the victory of Hezbollah and Lebanon in this war is turned to a defeat thanks to the Lebanese government. What Sovereignty of State the west and France special is speaking about and the French troops with the rest of the Unifal gang are controlling every road, shores and airports !!!

Already I believe when Hezbollah agreed to 1701 ,it knows very well that the Unifal is a watch dog for Israel to stop any attempt for any missile to reach Hezbollah's hands , and as proved to have excellent intelligence they will find new ways to get missiles .

Same as Syria, by the way I am surprised by the sudden change in opinions in the Syrian leadership , from two weeks they were refusing the existence of foreign forces on the Syrian-Lebanese borders ,and the Syrian President himself said so in Dubai TV show, and they even threatened the Lebanese government with complete darkness "The sudden electric current cutoff from Syria, Lebanon is fed electrically from Syria ", now from two days ago Bashar El-Assad informed the PM of Italy Syria's approval on the existence of the Unifal !! fast change isn't it ??

and this change and this approval I guess is from another side far away from the romantic Arabism is a smart gesture from Damascus to prove its innocence from funding and supplying Hezbollah charge ;put as much as you can from inspection Peace keeper Mickey mouse whatever , there is nothing against international law passing through our borders ,prove it if you dare

The Unifal will find nothing from air or sea or land , come on The Mossad ,one of the most finest intelligence secret services in the world couldn't locate the launching place of the missiles or its hiding place not to mention the places of the Hezbollah leader , would the Unifal do so ??

 You know this reminds me with the time of  colonialism , in the 1936 agreement between Egypt and UK , the British army would guard the Egyptian borders too in time of war

Well the age of colonialism is back again after all

أصبحنا و اصبحت المرأة  المصرية  اخيرا فى القرن الواحد و العشرين

انجاز رائع , فقد  استطعت الفتاة المصرية ان تستعيد حقوقها المسلوبة و الضائعة  و المهدورة .....الخ من كلام الانشاء المذكور  و المكرر فى وسائل الاعلام الرسمية مع اهتمام واضح و مركز  على انجازات سيدة مصر  الاولى حرم سيادة الرئيس اللى حررت  البنت المصرية فعلا و اللى لو قارننا انجازاتها مع انجازات قاسم أمين هتكسب بالضربة القاضية

مؤاتمرات و احاديث فى التلفزيونات و الراديو و الجرايد على انجازات المرأة  و انها نصف المجتمع

كلام جميل و كلام معقول ما قادرش اقول حاجة عنه لكنه فى نهاية كلام و الكلام مش بفلوس زى المثل الشعبى ما بيقول

للاسف الكلام ده كلام مش موجود على ارض الواقع

فى اوائل القرن العشرين اصدر قاسم أمين كتاب اربك المجتمع المصرى الذكورى ,الكتاب ده اللى وصفه كثير من الناس بانه بدعة و كل بدعة ضلالة و كل ضلالة فى النار كان بيدعو لاعادة حقوق المرأة فى القرن العشرين طبقا لشريعة الاسلامية التى اتت من السماء من 14 قرن مضى من حقوق مسلوبة من جميع النواحى من تعليم و عمل و ملكية و ميراث 

المجتمع المصرى الذكورى وقتها كان بيهجم الكتاب لانه بيدعو للسفور و التشبه بالغرب !! حجج  بايخة و  غبية و تدل على جهل شديد و  الغريب ان حتى الآن بعد مرور مئة سنة على صدوره  لازل  البعض بيتهم الكتاب و مؤلفه  بنفس الحجج  و الغريب ان ما حدش تعب نفسه و قرأ الكتاب علشان بعرف  مدى مصدقية الاتهامات المنسوبة اليه عارفين ليه لان المجتمع الذكورى المصرى بيرفض اى كلام  حول اعادة  حقوق المرأة المسلوبة اللى هو سلبها منها بالتقاليد التى تعود الى عصر الجاهلية قبل الاسلام

لن اتحدث عن تحرير المرأة و المساواة بينها و بين الرجل على الطريقة الغربية  ,لانى ببساطة  مؤمنة  ان دينى اعطى للمرأة حقوقها و حررها من العادات و التقاليد المتخلفة  اللى للاسف لازلت موجودة  و سبب وجودها حتى الان  و لغاية ما اصبحت اقوى من الدبن نفسه انها بتعطى لرجل سلطة  على المرأة مطلقة 

ابسط الامثال

عدم توريث النساء ميراثهم الشرعى المذكور فى  القرآن  و عالفكرة ده مش موجود  فى الصعيد  بس ,ده كمان  فى الدلتا , زميل قريبتى فى الشغل باحد البنوك بيفتخر ان  ابوه  لم يوزع ميراث عماته علشان الارض متروحش لحد غريب و رغم ابوه مش سايب اى مناسبة عير لما بيكرمهم فيها !!! الغريب ان الرجل  ده يقال  انه  متدين مش عارفة  تدين  اه ده اللى يحرم  الاخرين من حقوقهم  الشرعية !! تماما  زى  ايام  الجاهلية  بس الاختلاف  احنا مسلمين  و فى القرن الواحد و العشرين

االنكد  لما الببيى بيتوالد بنت سيبكو من الفلاحين  و الصعايدة ,شوفتها  بعينى فى الطبقة المتعلمة المتوسطة العليا ,فى عائلتنا واحدة دكتورة متزوجة من عائلة مرموقة و عرق اتراك و الكلام ده  كانت هتموت على ولد لدرجة ارتدائها  الحجاب و سفرها  العمرة علشان    تجيب  ولد بس للاسف  جت بنت طبعا هى و جوزها اتنكدوا  اوى  لدرجة  انها خلعت  الحجاب !! نرجع  برضه  لزميل قريبتى كان هينفجر   من الغيظ لما جاءته تالت بنت زى و صف الاية  الكريمة  فى القرآن

فاكرين قانون الخلع ؟ فاكرين مناقشته فى البرلمان ؟  فاكرين  مدى معارضة الرجال ليه؟ عالرغم انه من الشريعة و خصل وقت الرسول "صلى الله عليه و سلم"

الكلام ده فى اواخر القرن العشرين و بدايات القرن الواحد و العشرين 

امثلة بسيطة  لكنها  بتوضح  مدى المشكلة اللى  بنعانى منها فى المجتمع  المصرى ,حالات  من انفصام  الشخصية شعب بيدعى التقوى و التدين فى حين بيتجاهل تعاليم دينه. تقاليد و عادات و أعراف ما انزل الله بها من سلطان لازلنا بنتمسك بها للاسف على الاقل الرجال بس طبعا المرأة ليها نصيب فى المشكلة دى ,تسليمها و عدم الرغبة فى المحاربة  لحصولها  على حقوقها .  زمان كانوا بيقولوا عدم تعليم البنات هو سبب عدم المساواة و  ها نحن فى القرن الجديد و البنت اصبحت دكتورة  ومهندسة  و وزيرة كمان لكن ياترى  حصل تغير ؟ لو ده صحيح  مكانش فيه  وجود  للامثلة المذكورة  اعلها

الموضوع مش تعليم و خروج للعمل بس

يا جماعة قبل عصر تحرير المراة  السيدات كن يعملن فى الحقول  ختى الان كفلاحات  و كبائعات فى الطبقات الفقيرة  بالعكس الرجل بيدفع المرأة  للعمل فى تلك الطبقات فى بعض الاحيان علشان يأخذ شقها 

بائعة الخبز فى شارعنا جوزها متزوج من ثلاث نساء و هى الثلاثة و الثلاث بيعملن كبائعات خبز  فى الشوارع  و هو لا يعمل  او حتى يحاول الحصول  على عمل !!! تلك السيدة بتعمل  كل يوم حتى  فى الاعياد  

الحل فى ايدينا  كشعب و هو بسيط  زى ما بنعمل الاطفال الصلاة و الصوم و ان  الجنة  تحت اقدام الامهات  نعلمهم حقوق المرأة  فى الاسلام 

نعلمهم ان المرأة المصرية مش  عايزة تحرر على الطريق الغربية و  ان مش كل واحد ينادى باستعادة  حقوقها المسلوبة يصبح علمانى يريد تدمير الانسان

نعلمهم  ان السيدات  كانوا بيحاربوا  ايام الرسول الله  عليه و سلم

نعلمهم ان السيدات  كانوا بيتعلموا و بيعلموا  زى  السيدة  عايشة و السيدة نفسية  رضى الله عنهما

نعلمهم ان المرأة ليست رجس من الشيطان

و قبل ما نعلم الاطفال نعلم النساء حقوقهن و ازاى يدافعن عن تلك الحقوق المسلوبة  

حاجة تانية يجب مناقشتها جدية مجالس المرأة المختلفة ابتدا من المجلس الاعلى للمرأة الى جمعية نوال السعداوى الشهيرة بنوال زينب 

 انا مش شايفة اى اهمية للمجالس دى مع احترامى الشديد ليها يعنى مثلا الدنيا ما قاعدتش فى حكاية  هند الحناوى لكن لما الصحفيات تم التحرش بيهن السنة الماضية عاى مرأى  و مسمع العالم اجمع  على سلم نقابة الصحفيين  لا حس و لا خبر !!! ازادوجية  فى كل شىء .الغريب ان الحركة النسائية  فى مصر بدايتها الفعلية كانت ثورة 1919

حاجة ثلاثة  بما  اننا  فى يوم ليلى فهاقول كل اللى فى نفسى 

حرية المرأة فى مصر مش معناها التحرر من الانفلات الاخلاقى  زى ما فى ناس فهم  انا متحررة يبقى البس  زى مانا  عايزة و اصحب زى مانا عايزة  و اخرج  زى ما نا عايزة مانا حرة بقى  تفكير غبى و عقيم و ضيق و بيعطى فرصة ذهبية  للمتشددين من التيار الوهابى السلفى يهجم حقوق المراة 

الحرية  على طريقة  ايناس  الدغيدى و روبى  مش هى الحل  بالعكس الحرية دى بتسجن المرأة  او تضعها فى القالب الجسد

فى النهاية انا فخورة بيوم ليلى 

و على فكرة انا عندى الديفيدى  بتاع اليوم المفتوح

وكمان  فى النهاية احب  اشارك معكم  بحاجة نادرة من عصر تحرير المرأة المصرى الاول 

راى زوجة قاسم امين فى بنات الاربعينات ,نفسى اعرف  هيكون  رايها و راى زوجها لو شافوا روبى
