Suez on Fire : Back to torture case

It has been sometime now when we hear about a torture case at a police station in Egypt but what you know , some habits do not just stop !!

This morning we found out the city of Suez woke up or rather did not sleep because 6 protesters including famous activist/poet Mohamed El Tamsah were tortured at Suez police station were tortured and humiliated for hours !!

The story started when two of the protesters on hunger strike fell ill and had to be transferred to the hospital. Poet El Tamsah was the first in the city to start a hunger strike and decided to accompany them along with other 5 protesters. While filing a medical report in the hospital with their cases , the protesters found a police officer insulting them badly. According to one version of the story Poet El Tamsah called the governor to report him the incident and the governor advised him to fill a complaint against that police officer. When El Tamsah and other protesters went to the police station to fill a report , they found the police officers detained , insulting and torturing them !!!

The MOI did have Snipers Mr. Minister "Updated"

Minister Mansour Eissawy has been denying since day one that the ministry of interior got a snipers units till he made us suspect the presidential guards.
Well may be when Eissawy was in police forces from 16 years ago , there was no snipers unit but there was a snipers unit in the force in year 2004.
What type of riffle was that !? "Karim Ibrahim"

¿Dónde está Hussein Salem?

The amazing cousins Tarek Shalaby and Mohamed Radwan are currently in Spain and they are searching for Hussein Salem in Madrid. “Oh yes they are”
This is another new leap for Egyptian citizen journalism indeed as the duo are live broadcasting what they are doing in Madrid. Shalaby also launched a special hashtag on twitter #WhereisHusseinSalem.
Now Shalaby and Radwan decided to pay a visit to Senior Hussein Salem at Gregoria Maranon hospital in Madrid and as true gentlemen they bought flowers. “They did not buy chocolates or oranges though !!” They claimed to be his son Khaled’s friend and asked to about him at the famous hospital and amazingly our boys found out that Salem was not there at the hospital at all after a tour there. Tarek does not know thought if Salem was admitted to the hospital or he was not admitted at all.

Shall we fear from these police major generals !?

Mansour Eissawy announced the biggest reshuffle movement in the history of MOI today which is as follows :
  • It will include 4000 police officer across the country
  • The ministry ended the service of 505 major general and 82 brigadier general and 82 colonel which means they will get pensions.
  • 18 major general and 9 colonels involved in the killing of the protesters included in that reshuffle.
Eissawy at the press conference
By Sherine Tadros
Of course it is worth to mention that Eissawy insisted that the ministry of interior has not got and had not got any snipers before the revolution or during the revolution or after the revolution. He also insisted that whoever killed the protesters after January 28th was not from the police force as the police force withdrew from its positions on that day and did not show up its face till February 11th !! “The minister did not mention why the police force left its positions in the first place”
Ok setting aside the issue of the snipers , I will not hide my concern from those 505 police major generals and how they may form some sort of rogue counter revolution. It is worth to mention that we do not have list with the names of these generals , may be the list will be published tonight at the official State newspaper aka the Original Egyptian Chronicles.
Another thing the statement of the minister admits that we are having is a revolution not January 25th events nor movement like how some are calling it currently.
According to source in the ministry this is the first and most important part of the reshuffle movement while the second part will be announced on Saturday.

Mogama El Tahrir to be opened tomorrow "Updated"

El Mogama El Tahrir will start working again in the morning insh Allah according to our true revolutionary protesters at Tahrir Square. You must know that the main groups like 6th April Youth and the Revolution Youth coalition were against the shut down of this important administrative building.
Shutting down of Mogama was not the brightest idea for escalation as it gave the opportunity to the enemies of the revolution to use it against and against the current sit in at the square.
We need the people in our side , we do not want to turn them against us by these provocations. Hundreds if not thousands go to the Mogama on a daily basis to finish official paper works ,we will not stand against them for one second if we truly we want the best for Egypt. Again Mubarak and Soliman had warned the world from chaos in Egypt if the revolutionaries won so we should not fall in to this trap.
Already I do not know who was behind this idea and that other idea of blocking the metro line “Which was totally refused” but I know there are certain faces and names that got strange and suspicious roles in the Tahrir sit in this time unlike last time in the winter. It starts with one person with crazy idea trying to encourage others using their revolutionary feelings without knowing they are being used for certain goals away from their noble goals. “Sometimes it is against their noble goals actually”
Again thanks to our true revolutionaries and hopefully insh Allah no one in the morning will stand against the re-opening of the Mogama.
Update :
It is opened now .
Here is a the video of re-opening the Mogama again , the protesters welcomed the employees with a revolutionary reception of pro-revolution chants and national anthem.
The protesters hanged a bigger banner at the entrance of the building that says :
Opened by the orders of the revolution
By Mr. M. Montasser
You must know that the protesters had a survey in the past two days whether they should open the building or not and the majority as I hinted above was with the re-opening of the building.
The protesters also distributed a statement at the building directed to its employees. The statement tells the employees that the sit in is not against their work at all and it will not stand their work as well. It called the employees to join the sit in if there is any in the future.

Fourth time is the charm as it seems !!

For the fourth time after the revolution some unknown group in Al Arish blew up the gas pipeline.

Blowing Up the gas pipeline

This time it is at Sheikh Zowaid and allegedly a group of unknown masked men did it.No one has claimed responsibility. That group of unknown masked men already blew up the gas pipeline last week at Beir El Abd and stopped the gas exports to Jordan.

Now after this explosion the gas exports to Israel and Jordan will be stopped indefinitely according to GASCO statement. I read today that Israel is thinking of using other source of gas. Our youth welcomed the action so much and that unmasked group or man became the heroes of the day before El-Fangary’s speech.

We need this gas more than any country now with my respect to Jordan and Israel , there are millions of Egyptians who indeed gas in their homes before anyone.
